PartySick 144,800
"Dynasty" - a thematic Born This Way follow up about the state of the world and our place in it. After performing at Biden's imagination and observing society's bullsh*t, she's primed to deliver an album that's as angry and charged as MJ's HIStory album imo. Genre: Rock, rock/pop, ballad A few song ideas: 1) "The Wall" - inspired by the American right's obsession with walling ourselves off from our neighbors. Lyrics are about the death of empathy in modern society. 2) "Directions" - To, almost playfully, contradict track one, this song is about tribalism and the way people refuse to listen to others with different perspectives. The title is inspired by the directions left and right, which are the main political directions. 3) "Behind the Glass" - A spiritual successor to Perfect Illusion based on the impersonification of people on social media. "Numbers in a series no depth and no mass / sitting screaming pitiful / stuck behind the glass". The hardest rock song on the album, a real stadium shaker. 4) "We Used to Be Better" - A ballad with crying guitars and piano. Lyrically, this could be about the "honeymoon phase" of a dying romance or it could be about the way we all used to think the world was a better place when we were younger and innocent. Basically, it's about chosen delusions and unhealthily yearning them rather than putting in the work to fix what you have. 5) "Burn" - Inspired by recent conflicts in the world. The lyrics aren't direct, opting for allusions to the meaning, but the theme is how we burn each other down over imaginary lines on a map and invented problems. 6) "Body" - The obligatory feminist anthem inspired by American women losing their constitutional right to body autonomy. 7) "Dynasty" - The most personal song on the album. Gaga on full reflection mode, once again finding herself at a loss about where her place (and the listener's place) is in the world. The song starts as a rock ballad and gets harder at the second half (think of "Marry the Night" meets Metallica). 8) "Carry On (Stay)" - Another song that could be interpreted as romantic, yet its true meaning is inspired by what Gaga told us at the Miami Chromatica Ball when she stopped the show, saying she cared about life in a way she never has before. The meaning is a reflection of moving on past suicidal ideation and finding the desire to stay and be better for yourself. That's all I got I know it's not exactly the rock Gaga would make (and not even the kind I want from her) but I've had this song stuck in my dead for days. It's kind of a jam and thematically matches my dumb ideas here Edited January 9 by PartySick 1 3 1

AndiGaga 5,954
Dark Heart Black Heart was my first guess but Dark Heart sounds so much better and like Joanne was a switch into ASIB, Dark Heart would be a step in the Joker / Harley direction without being too similar
