I don't know what to make of this. It seems like a really poor decision tbh. The only justification I can think of is maybe her staff are struggling to pay the bills without their jobs and she wants to support all of them. Weird decision though and explained weirdly too.. the whole 'our show continues to navigate difficult times' angle was a choice...

You do not get to be a part of a union, reap all of the benefits of them, and then turn around and betray them. When you join a union, you stand by them, and crossing that line is the opposite of that.

First off, in most unionized films you don’t have a choice. If you want the job, you join the union. As money hungry and selfish as you are that’d sure eliminate you from a lot of money making opportunities just because you want to bootlick someone who relishes in your poverty. 

Second of all, I suppose you support 7 day 12 hour work weeks, no vacation time, no maternity leave, no minimum wage, no workplace safety, no job security measures, and children (actual children under 10 years old) in the work place working those 7 12 hour days alongside you then? Because those are all the things that unions fought to abolish and succeeded. 

Every single perk you have enjoyed at any job ever is because of unions.

I did and guess what? I couldn’t understand anything as every article uses words that you usually don’t see, it’s hard for some people to understand an other language. But thanks for the help, very instructive
