She’s really one of the most strong women in the industry when you think about it. The way she survived after everything she went through - and most of it we have no idea how it feels like - anf she’s still going through a lot, witnessing stuff like this or the way the crappy media goes towards her it’s really heartbreaking.

I mean, I understand it’s the security job to protect them but still a questionable way to just go punching somebody almost like automatically. Maybe there’s another way to handle those things in a better way.  
I don’t know, I just feel so bad for her, especially because on the same way she’s one of the biggest pop stars of all time you can tell she’s got a genuine good soul and heart.

I SWEAR if it was a woman who did this, it would take years for her to get off the DIVA status and being forced to apologize multiple times on every media outlet, but no it’s a male athlete, everything is ok nobody cares.

well gaga's security have literally tackled to the ground people trying to 'tap her shoulder' 

his security were unreasonably forceful but i don't see how it's his fault if he didn't really know what was happening

 

and idg why anyone sees his response as laughing it off because he isn't  he just seems awkward like he doesn't really know to say much else

the 'fun night with the guys' is clearly in response to his whole night but is now being baited as if he's saying her being knocked down by his security was the fun night when he's obviously been asked about the night in general seperate to the incident

edit: I'm also not disagreeing with her btw, it sounds awful, but if he ran up to her with all of her security, they would've done the same thing sadly

this is awful. it's clear from what we see that britney is a very sweet person, at times bordering on a little naive due to how long she's been held back from actually living her life, and it's so terrible that she's had an experience like this.

the player's 'statement' is terrible. even if this was a 'normal' person and not another celebrity, that kind of response from your security is a vast overreaction and far too harsh. just look at how women have been vilified for pushing back against much worse behaviour (see bjork attacking a nasty, cocky journalist who'd been following her right after she'd had a child, or the kind of backlash many female artists get for simply telling fans that they don't want to be bothered in their own time).

i feel so sorry for britney, and glad that everyone seems to be on her side. she's been through so much and even then, seems to be nothing but lovely and thoughtful, a very resilient person and deserves a lot better than this.

Is he that famous of a celebrity for his security detail to be so up and arms as to automatically slap anybody who taps him on the shoulder? I know it's a he-said-she-said situation, but why would Britney "grab" someone just like that?
