Future Lovers 5,304 Posted June 12, 2023 Share Posted June 12, 2023 I greatly enjoy evermore, but folklore is the superior sister in every way. evermore's first seven tracks are immaculate and then it becomes very hit and miss from there on. folklore meanwhile has 16 tracks and my only two i don't adore are the final two. I like Folklore a lot, but similar to the last dua lipa record it screams pandemic to me and all the feelings that come up with it, so I don’t really play it as much anymore. Luv u Sum 2,148 Posted June 12, 2023 Share Posted June 12, 2023 i used to prefer folklore tbh. it's a very likable album with a majority of its songs being fun storytelling tracks that are really good ! but overtime i've come to appreciate evermore sooo much to the point where i don't like folklore as much anymore. evermore to me is really sophisticated. it has weird time signatures, songs that seem to have no structure, weird and honestly experimental production at times... it's sooo good i will say tho i hated evermore when i first heard it. i just didn't get it and it was so soon after the release of folklore i just wasn't ready, but looking back i 100% feel that it is superior and my favorite taylor swift album 3 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
