It's a Death Row Records chain.

To the uninitiated, this chain is not given to everyone, and here's some history:

1.) It’s the first piece of jewellery in the history of the rap game that practically became gang insignia.

2.) It was a medallion that represented the gangsta rap lifestyle so much that certain West Coast public schools began to ban the logo.

3.) Death Row Records’ classic mark became a modern day skull and crossbones. It was pretty much a swastika to conservative America.

Death Row Records as a label got horrifying image. It's gangsta for real, and its previous owner, Suge Knight, before Snoop Dogg took over, is a gang member who uses strong arm tactics to get his way.

Teddy might not aware of this either, but he better get ready. When you are given one, it's like they're sayin, "Respect, I'm on your back"

and by receiving this chain, it is like saying "I am part of this posse, represents!" :dom:
