on the actual point, she’s not defending herself as even people supporting her have called this an effort to shed brat fans. She’s just explaining intentions a bit more. By this read of her stuff, Gaga has been defensive for 20 years. Women can’t explain themselves or their art that people willfully misconstrued without people calling them defensive, lord. I’m not even an angel like that but rock music’s intention is insanely obvious.

Not a crash out at all. She’s simply responding to fans receptions to the music. 

She isn’t “convinced” it’s more in her favour after brat, she literally outrightly said she will NEVER be this successful again so she’s just going to keep making what she likes. Literally no ego. 
 

if she wanted to be a success she’d have continued making dance music. Also weird to think that her and the PC music gangs music started out as irony and is now appropriated into modern dance music entirely.
