MountainMonster 2,238
The credits for both songs have been updated; DWAS now credits Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo (of Daft Punk) and Vincent Belorgy (Kavinsky) as songwriters. Killah now credits Trent Reznor (of Nine Inch Nails) as a songwriter. 2 5 3

Joshie S 6,512
Gaga has always been the first to overly give credit when appropriate credit is due. Not crediting all 3 on Requiem? I smell a stunt. Glad they did the right thing, crazy it wasn't done from the start. The melody that you choose can rescue you ♥

Because they are iconic (and because she sampled them in those performances) If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating. gagzus 20,375
I understand Killah giving a sample credit because they outrightly sampled the drums from Closer but the rest is just utter crap to keep the peace
lasagna 3,184
i mean it was obvious it was a sample so she done the right thing eventually, i don't think there was ever malice intended on anyones part from the start. hopefully this is put to rest now Edited 4 hours ago by lasagna

This is the first time she's worked with someone other than her own team/label for a release - probably just Apple using AI to compile the data and naturally did it wrong The gays know how to party

Guy is the producer of the song Nightcall by Kavinsky. People, including members here on GGD who went to the original Requiem show claimed DWAS sampled Nightcall. It does not actually sample it, but the optics are that it was sampled; and you know what they say perception is reality. They credited them to avoid further drama.
