FfFfFfFF 58,120
Last spring, Ukraine’s army was running desperately low on the fuel and Soviet caliber ammunition it needed to fight the Russians. Salvation came from an unexpected quarter: Bulgaria. Thanks to its fractured domestic politics — and the pro-Russian leanings of much of its elite — Sofia has been at pains over the course of the invasion to stress that it is not arming Ukraine. That was, however, a smokescreen, according to an investigation by German daily WELT, a sister publication of POLITICO in the Axel Springer Group. Thanks to exclusive interviews WELT has pieced together a picture of how Bulgaria stepped into the breach and used intermediaries to provide Kyiv with vital supplies of weapons, ammunition and diesel at a critical juncture of the fighting last year. There are 100% other countries that are secretive when it comes to the aid they sent, usually the ones history taught it's best to keep quiet (not dropping names because of the same reason but some of you know which ones ). There is a difference between countries that are ideologically pro-Russia and countries that are pragmantically pro-Russia. Bulgaria is ideologically and sentimentally closer to Russia as both are Slavic nations with historical ties, yet Hungary is pragmatically more pro-Russia, even though Hungary and Russia share very little. I’m Hungarian, and i’m pretty sure that Putin’s using Orbán to destabilize the EU. They made a deal around 2009-2010 so Putin can blackmail him. I also read somewhere that some russian politician confirmed this basically, a few years ago.

The issue is not limited to Orban and Hungary only. Almost every far right western politician supports Putin and Russia. Why? Because now it's the age of culture wars. Borders don't matter. If they align on social issues, especially their hostility to LGBT rights and abortion etc, then they become allies. In France, Marine Le Pen and Zemmour have tacit support for Putin. In Germany, AfD supports him. In the U.S, MAGA wing of the republican party supports him. They don't care how many ukrainians he kills. To them, Putin's Russia is their dream society, an overly conservative society with strong man authoritarian rule, "anti-woke", anti-LGBT etc.. Serbia is not supporting Russia. Why do you continue spreading lies? Serbia just recently expressed disgust with Russian Wagner mercenaries trying to recruit Serbians to go to Ukraine and fight for Russia. And over 100,000 Russians and Ukrainians fleeing their countries have taken refuge in Serbia.

This is a war between the West and Russian East. Putin’s system is a huge danger to the Western World. So the US will destroy Russia. I think that the US right wing’s politics is just a show. They also support Ukraine. Some Republican politics said a few weeks ago that this war is a cold American interest. And also, the US doesn’t want a 3 pole world order. They need to get rid of Russia so they can focus on China.
