MOT 2,733
It's an interesting question. The noise around Gaga has died down, the explosions have all happened, the dust has settled, so what's left behind for new generations to get their teeth into ? What's left behind is marvellous music, lots of it, pop music of the highest quality. It was terrific 10 years ago, and it'll be terrific in 20 years time. I'm sure she's not finished with us, but if she packed it all in tomorrow and went off to join a nunnery in the Himalayas she would leave a very substantial legacy. Bradley 57,624
I think what fascinates a huge portion of the GP, and myself, about Gaga is her maturity. Her view on life, on humanity, on the difficulties and possibilities of love, on how one could rise above the generic to really say something meaningful about the deepest parts within ourselves. It's not just in her words or in her shows. It's fundamentally what moves her to sing and is quite evident in her voice. It's why some technically perfect singers like Beyonce fail to move me when Gaga does that so effortlessly.

TheBadRomancer 949
I love seeing it! As a fan among fans who got bullied and made fun of for SO LONG for loving this woman, the world is finally seeing how incredible she is and it really feels like a win for us all, in my opinion.
