Zelensky to visit White House tomorrow & address Joint Session of Congress

After being in Bakhmut today, Zelensky is planning to visit the White House tomorrow on invitation from President Joe Biden. He is also scheduled to address a joint session of Congress. This comes as the U.S is planning to transfer Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine, considered the most effective air defenses, after Russia's multi-month bombardement campaign against Ukraine's energy grid. Russia has warned that U.S transfer of Patriot air defense systems is a major escalation.

Peace talks continue to fail as rift emerges between the West and Russia. U.S Secretary of State has stated that the U.S intends to help Ukraine regain at least the territories lost since February 23rd, but Russia continues to push for possible regime change and annexation of large parts of Ukraine.

ISW reports that Russia may try yet again to open a new front through Belarus to try to capture Kyiv (seems like Putin doesn't care how many of his soldiers die in these futile attempts).

maybe few of the establishment republicans, but a majority of them these days push the Tucker Carlson talking points about how democrats moneylaunder in Ukraine and Russia is provoked and all that nonsense...
