RAMROD 102,206
Some are classics, with good lyrics, and shouldn't be touch, such as All I Want For Christmas, and Last Christmas. But some others are so boomers and not relevant anymore to the modern standards of living, and can't be heard or sing without us feeling cringed out about it. Such as the ones sung by Miley, almost 3 years ago in a talk show: What do you think? PartySick 141,606
Miley's version is hilarious but it mostly works as a parody, not a carol itself. Are there other examples that aren't played as a joke?
Maxine Puth 9,052
I’d say there’s nothing wrong with keeping the classics classic unless they’re racist / sexist etc. But modern artists have the option to do whatever they want with classics… Like for example I like Gaga’s extra verse on White Christmas
