I'm just so over the DCEU honestly. I lowkey don't want them to do a cinematic universe. Marvel's already doing that. Do more movies like The Batman and Joker: director-driven standalone movies that feel more "artsy" compared to most comic book movies.

Agreed, the shared cinematic universe concept seems so tired at this point.  Even Marvel has lost its touch.

Batman (Robert Pattinson) and Joker (Joaquin Phoenix) are their own individual worlds. But every other DC movie is connected! It's not that complicated

DC's stronger films lately are the standalone ones, not shared universe flicks. Throw Henry in as many films as possible, but I'm really only looking forward to Man of Steel 2 getting made. It can write itself. He teams up with Supergirl to fight Brainiac. Done. It would get at least $700M+ at the box office.

Phase 4 has definitely had its fair share of hits and misses, but I think one reason why people were mixed on it was because they didn't know what it was building up to. In hindsight, people look at phases 1-3 fondly because it all built up to Infinity War & Endgame. With Phase 4, everything was all over the place, so people didn't understand how these things were connecting. I think after Kang Dynasty & Secret Wars, people will look at Phase 4 more fondly too.

DC has more iconic superheroes but they really suck at making movies 

i saw black adam this weekend and it was reallly boring and IMO anti-climactic 

the only good DC movie they have released was WW in 2017

Idk the vfx and humor are not great.  All of the new shows except for maybe Loki seem really disjointed and rushed.  I think it'll be hard for them to recapture that lightning in a bottle feel of Phase 1-3 especially w/o RDJ and Chris Evans.  GA will eventually move on to the nbt

I'm looking forward to BP2 tho but mostly just because of Tenoch's Namor
