Is this the best version of "Venus" by Lady Gaga?

5 years later and I am still enamoured by this live version of "Venus" from Coachella, 2017.

Honestly it may be the best performance of "Venus" to date, no?

The way she turned this slice of electro-pop into an intergalactic, glam/rock anthem live is so next level. Only few pop acts could pull this off I feel.

Everybody from Gaga, the dancers, tech crew, the band really brought their A game and took us to the planet for a solid 4 minutes.

Fingers crossed it makes TCB !

Yes. This performance really stood out with how they used the stage/ screen and more importantly darkness/ light.

Also can we talk about how Gaga's hair, body and face is so on point ?

Her dance moves are also great.

Kind regards

I think chorus #2 and #3 are the best parts of the song and she totally cut chorus #2 and didn't sing chorus #3 :laughga:

This Coachella set was phenomenal! I couldn't believe she played so many old tracks and fan favs too!

I will NEVERRRR get over the fact she had a Chromatica era Coachella performance planned (and also a surprise iheartradio festival performance) and covid took it away from us

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

It's a shame, but we got a glorious tour ahead. So closeee

I also wonder what the setlist would've been like for the canceled Rock n Rio slot too.

She honestly looked so good

The hair suits her so well and there's something sensual about her eyes/ look

Kind regards

The funky intergalactic 70's Aphrodite Lady performance on the Thanksgiving special is the best Venus performance, in my opinion.

She's the goddess Circe, in Studio 54, summoning the planets, to cast a love spell over a writhing orgy of muppets. The performance ends, as all her performances do, with a couple bitter f*gs trying to read her, "That opening was catchy. "So's malaria." :yennefer:

10/10 :vegas:

Shocked this never went viral. Gaga, Venus and Muppets, like what more y'all want lol.

It’s an outstanding performance, it’s Gaga so that’s a given, but any version that doesn’t have her screaming “DON’T YOU KNOW MY A$$ IS FAMOUS” can’t be the best version.
