LG666 1,775
It's good! It's what I would expect from a soundtrack. Her vocals are fab

BBhomemaker 5,611
I love it, it’s so powerful ! I know damn well she gonna make me cry whenever im gonna feel slightly sensitive and overcome me emotionally. And about the intro part i would even have added it just before the last chorus during a breakdown as a sensitive touch.

It’s so squeaky and she can’t hit the notes live consistently, and sounds forced. Eg. 3:00. The rest of the song is good though. Sis wut? If anything, I think these are her best vocals in a long, long time (better than 3/4s of Chromatica and the deluxe tracks imo).
SevenWonder 3,912
I've listened to it five times now. The first time it didn't really do much for me. But now? I really love it. It's that power ballad I didn't know I needed. Love the 80s drums and her vocals are just insane.

It's a movie soundtrack ballad...it was never going to be super experimental or even a ballad a la The Edge of Glory. Also agree her vocals sound immaculate...best vocals in a long, long time imo. Only think I didn't like was the 5 second intro (which I think the GP won't even notice tbh).
ARTGOD 3,266
It’s aight. Her vocals are mostly good but the top of her range sounds a bit shrill. The lyrics are decent, a bit generic but there’s nothing offensive. The structure is your typical love ballad, there’s no reinventing of the wheel here. The production is kinda weird? It’s a bit bland and generic at times but there’s also some weird effects that while cool, don’t really blend in with the rest of the song. It overalls feels a bit aimless. Yet another song where I feel like Bloodpop’s production does nothing for the song. Maybe it will grow on me. I think it will be a moderate hit if the movie is a hit, but I am not sure the song will be able to stand on its own like Shallow did.

I agree, from all her growth as an artist and as a vocalist, Hold my hand sounds like an elevated Before i Cry, it makes sense in the continuation, chromatica being in the middle of both project is more surprising
TEANUS 12,941
I love the intro I love the vocals The D-RUUMS The LYYYYR-ICS British social ladies with upturned pinkies, glasses clinking // xoxoTEANUS

Really !?! Oh wow i need to know now, I'm curious. That would explain it for sure. The soundtrack for ASIB is probably on my top 2 albums of her so maybe thats why i like it so much too
