In her discography for me it is up there with Bad Romance, Paparazzi and Alejandro. The public love it. I think it went Number 1 in France. That song did so well and should have been used more. I also don’t think it needs further validation, as sometimes it great when a song doesn’t receive the overexposure that comes with promotion aka Shallow. Nah, she's saving the first ever live performance of hits like ARUTW (3rd most-streamed on Spotify) and ROM (2nd most-streamed) for the Chromatica Ball, I think. Which is why she's not doing pop concerts in Vegas until after the tour. It makes sense to perform ARUTW for the first time at a stadium concert for 50K fans, right? RichAssPiss 4,921 Posted April 23, 2022 Share Posted April 23, 2022 If she let them send it to radio it would have smashed in the U.S. She was making a calculated choice to not let the film crossover into singer/actor territory like The Bodyguard and to not chase radio hits that made the film feel like an ad for a soundtrack. It was her goal to get the Oscar nod and respect as an actor. But I think she should really incorporate more A Star Is Born music now that all that is behind her.
