Netflix has 222 million paid subscribers.

If that goes down to 220 million (lol) that means a $2 price increase earns them an additional 440 million dollars per month.

2 million x 15$ = 30 million

440 million minus 30 million equals 410 million additional dollars.

I think all you math stars don't have to worry about them being over.

As for "not worth it anymore"..... if you buy a single series on dvd (or even rent at pay per view service like youtube) - you're looking at more than the cost of a netflix subscription per season.

Remember to like and subscribe, and click on the bell icon to get the latest updates

There's just nothing good there anymore. And what was once good, went downhill pretty fast:
ÉLITE now's become "The Manu Ríos Show"
Riverdale... we don't talk about ha :billie:

I love Love Is Blind and The Circle but they take too long between seasons.
Russian Doll's comeback is the only interesting thing there.

What else? I don't really know cause the good shows that are migrating to other streaming services.

hey patrick and ivan are the only good thing going on at the moment, cant help they carried the season and everyone else sucked. maybe they should make the other characters more interesting instead of just focusing on cheating and murder plots....

As long as Netflix continue to make their own original content I'm staying subscribed. Stranger Things, The Crown, Ozark, The Witcher, Bridgerton, Sex Education, Russian Doll, Dark, Elite, Squid Game, Maid, Queen's Gambit and Orange Is the New Black. I've watched so many shows and movies that I wouldn't have got to enjoy if it wasn't for Netflix, the platform has gave so many actors their breakthrough role. :applause:

Netflix has good content but they should stick to a max of 3 seasons if there's not much to tell. Several shows that are in their 5th season now feel like a drag. There's the exception like Dark and Orange Is The New Black that ended just in time.

The licensed content (old movies added to the catalogue) is pretty poor. You can barely find a good horror movie now. I also pay for HBO Max, Prime and Paramount Plus and use my brother's Disney+ account, there's just so many of them now.

There’s very little worthwhile non-Netflix content on Netflix anymore. I like a lot of Netflix shows, but I watch them for a few weeks and then don’t log in for a couple months.

compare that to HBO Max, Hulu, Disney+ which all have a lot of great movies and older TV shows to bolster their catalogue

wow, so very shocking that coming off a pandemic when gas and food prices are ****ing skyrocketing and people are struggling to survive they would unsubscribe to an unnecessary service that is raising its prices continuously WOW

We are about to get rid of Netflix and get Hulu instead, honestly (but only because we need to watch the latest season of Attack on Titan :bradley:)

Hulu seems to be part of a lot of great packages. I know there's a Disney+/ESPN/Hulu package and a while back, Spotify ran a promotion to get Hulu free with a Spotify account so I still have a base Hulu plan totally free through Spotify :gayhat:

Because some of the good shows have moved to different platforms. Modern Family and How I Met Your Mother (don't judge my taste in TV series) for example has been removed from Netflix and moved to Disney+.

Their saving grace for me is Sex Education and the "Haunting on..." series.

I'M STILL PISSED THAT THEY CANCELLED SANTA CLARITA DIET AFTER THE FINALE'S BIG CLIFFHANGER.

my username says it all 🇵🇭

I canceled my plan mostly for the money, but the content wasn't just intriguing anymore. I only have Amazon Prime now and that's enough for my lazy a$$ :lana:

There are a lot of reasons why tbh

The most frustrating thing though, is that they're blaming people for account sharing and taking no accountability themselves. And now they're planning to start preventing account sharing. Which tbh... is just going to drive more people away to other streaming sites and back to torrenting. I will pull out my old pirate hat and eyepatch if need bed out of spite, and in order to continue watching my shows.

Maybe more people would stay if they actually put the time and effort into creating amazing shows with passion and vision behind them, instead of just creating one season of fanservice and cancelling it on a cliffhanger only to move onto their next one

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.
