First of all, what‘s the aim of this thread by only targeting Italy? France and Germany are also clearly against removing Russia from SWIFT.

And as German foreign minister Annalena Baerbock said, SWIFT will ONLY hurt russian people living in other countries, e.g. students NOT THE RICH AND POWERFUL ones. Those will find ways without SWIFT.

The reason for this is trading in goods between Germany and Russia worth more than 26 billion euros.
