That's a shame because she is pretty good artist, despite her past as Republican (even supports Ron Paul at one point), but she turned around. And wrote her own songs, and she can sing.

Ngl there is an AI song I came across that I kind of like. Maybe having a separate chart for AI music will be necessary in the future.

Also, with singers not wanting to or incapable of touring for mental or physical reasons, I can see AI holograms being a reality soon. Think Hatsune Miku but way more interactive and realistic looking.

Keep in mind there's a good chance she's been paid A LOT of money to say that - if you're anyone or know anyone in illustration circles, you've probably heard from people that ai companies reach out with eyewatering amounts of money asking for an endorsement. Gianmacro Soresi has also just said he's been offered 750k to do an ai ad read - these companies are willing to throw a lot of money at creators to endorse them cuz they understand how deeply unpopular they are in public's eye.

Not to make it sound like Kelly's even remotely off the hook here, just pointing out it's unlikely she's just 'misguided' on the issue of genai, it's more likely her moral stance has a price tag.

RCA also stifled her creativity for years after 2007. I wonder if that too played a role in her liking AI like this.
