JusKeepBreathin 19,311
Honestly though these are not necessities. If Russian oligarchs want to spend a thousand dollars on a pair of sandals. (meh) Their money is going to be worthless pretty soon anyways. I thought it was the reverse. That Italians can buy Russian Luxury goods. That I would be angry at. The point is to make it difficult, expensive, and inconvenient so that those subjected to sanctions became frustrated with their government and turn against the war effort. azul 2,099
Draghi is a great PM. I mean, the man saved Euro Area. But I can't see what he is thinking. The sanctions are trying to bother the rich families of Russia. Ban them from accessing luxury goods would serve that purpose pretty well.
