Inferno 2,880 Posted February 24, 2022 Share Posted February 24, 2022 1. The Fame Monster - Her collab with Hedi remains untouchable imo. The images look as bold today as they did 13 years ago. 2. Chromatica - Amazing. 3. Born This Way - As years have passed I find both covers cool and strong. Metal and goths influence came through in the aesthetics of this entire era. Couldn't fully appreciate it at the time and im not sure if its because of how immense the energy around her career was then. It like clouded perception. I look back now and realize how strong most of the imagery was during BTW. 3. The Fame - Still bold and still iconic. Perfect. 4.Joanne - I love this image of her and the overall shoot for the album. The pink hat, whether you like it or not, has become an important piece of iconography within the world of Gaga imo. 5. ARTPOP - I don't dislike this cover so much as I don't feel much about it at all. Its bright and chaotic like much of the album so in that sense it works. Would've preferred to have seen the sculpture with Koontz ball in a different context than the background they chose. The shoot within the booklet is pretty weak. Meh. 6. The Tony Albums - Never felt the C2C cover did the album any favors, its so poorly done. The full photoshoot had more interesting cover options imo, not sure why that happened.
