No. If that’s the age most people end up in nursing homes or are told they need to have supervision/routine assistance then they’re definitely not fit to run a nation. 
 

The average life span is around 80-85 anyways. (I’m not saying all elderly people are physically, cognitively and or logically incompetent — just saying there should be a bar) 30/35-65 should be the presidential candidacy age limit. Nobody should be running a country that late in their life— they're just going to drag it down to the grave with them. I know that sounds messed up but it’s logic. It’s also evident.

There is no doubt in my mind that trump will run again. With all the legal trouble that he's in, the only way he can actually save himself is by abusing the oval office. His ego is too big to let someone else take the republican party and bail him out, so unless he ends up in prison or is too ill to run, he will 100% run in 2024 against whoever the Dems decide to go with. 

That actually is an excellent point I didn’t think about. Him being in legal trouble is encouraging him, not stopping him, from running. It’s the only way he can save his own ass. 
 

Ironically, Democrats trying to crack down on him now are kind of shooting themselves in the foot because if he thinks he needs to get out of trouble, he obviously will lie and gaslight and do whatever it takes to win again.

I think you underestimate the loyalty of the right. (One thing republicans fo better is stick together, and if it comes down to it, right leaning independents will choose Trump if they have to). This is where Democrats fail…and why Biden will be very divisive in 2024. Young liberals do not see themselves in an 80 year old white man that is showing signs of Alzheimer’s. And it’s kind of offensive of the Democratic Party for them to expect us Millennials and Gen Z’ers to continue to support that crap. If this makes you feel better I don't think he will. He did nothing good all during his government, people who voted for him did it because "they needed a change" but now that they got a taste of that change there's no more reasons left to vote for him.

Honestly I still think it’s too early to tell. Gas prices rose because of massive back to office spikes. Gas companies couldn’t keep up with the demand. Even with current prices (well I actually read about it a couple weeks ago, so it’s likely outdated), they were still selling at a loss. So hopefully it’ll even out soon once supply catches up to demand, which it looks like is starting to happen.
 

And let’s not forget that a ton of the issues we see nowadays (shortages, supply chain issues, even gas prices, etc), are thanks to COVID. COVID is an issue because a certain group ignored it for too long. Now we are seeing the long domino effect. All I mean to say is that everything is finally beginning to clash creating the perfect storm.

I understand that some of us want people fined for not getting vaccinated (myself included), but US is a country that hails on “freedom” aka having the choice. Gov is probably afraid to fine people because of the massive backlash that will happen (who knows how violent it could get). Personally, I think they should just have a vaccine mandate. You can’t get in any public place without a vaccine. I think it could go a long way. My two cents.

Considering they are the party that's hell bent on prolonging the pandemic and punishing the vaccinated instead of the unvaxed, nope. Their pandemic response is one reason I changed by registration to independent.

I don’t think anyone is anti-vax in this thread. The issue is with the mandates. I don’t think anyone should be mandated for a vaccine. It’s pretty dystopian. I also don’t trust Pfizer really, the clinical lab they hired (Vantavia) was investigated for improper lab procedures and not storing vaccines at proper temps, and inputting incorrect data into the research. This was done after an employee voiced her concerns and she was fired subsequently. Funnily enough, only four out of the hundred-ish facilities were actually investigated.

Also, nobody mentions that the vaccine is considered “leaky” which is an actual medical term. It only has about a 60% chance at protecting someone from the virus, which is why people are still getting COVID after the vaccine. Even after getting vaccinated, you can still spread the virus just as much as someone who is unvaccinated. We should be looking at the Omicron variant as an opportunity to have natural immunity since the symptoms of Omicron are more mild and then the natural immunity is actually better than the vaccine.

side note, staying in the hospital last 2 weeks- all I saw on any news station was negative outlooks on Covid outbreaks, global warming studies, Rising prices on Gas (but now Biden has them lowered?) 

For someone already upset about their diagnosis it was really putting me in a bad mood; can't imagine the US all collectively being more depressed. 

If there is no new messaging from the Dems side I wouldn't be surprised if the GOP wins midterms and 2024

It is too early to tell now. Everything is possible.

However, Americas economy will be rock bottom in 2024, so Trump winning again is possible, yet also Ivanka might win and guys we don't even know if Biden will make it until 2024
