Does it for the gheys
Debuted at #2 with the better piece of work than the one that's at #1
More than one #1 single
A Met Gala entrance with a few outfit changes
Received heavy criticism from religious people
Hot

Bonus: Was pregnant with an album

Who am I talking about? :ally:

Lil Nas X is on a league of his own.

He is not the new Madonna or Lady Gaga

He is the very first Lil Nas X and he is paving the way for more to come

This. He is paving his own legacy and that should be noted :legend:

I asked myself a similar question a few days ago, and I came to the conclusion that the answer is no, for any artist that's already in the game.

I believe there will be a new Lady Gaga, male or female, meaning there will be a new artist that will take the world like a storm the way Gaga did. Maybe it will happen in the next five years.

As someone said above, Lil Nas X, to me, is a different kind of celebrity. Gaga had a global cultural impact that none of today's artists have or have had (if you exclude the ones that became big before Gaga obviously). The closest might be Billie, but she didn't have a quarter of Gaga's impact back in the day.

Edit: Also, it's a bit off topic, but I see that a lot of stans use the term “overexposed” way too easily. Notably with Ariana and Dua. But let's be real, no artist, other than *maybe* Justin Bieber, has been overexposed since Gaga from 2009 to 2011.
