It showed she was returning fully to dance pop and gave a taste of the album but didn’t totally give away the sound of the album, which left lots of surprises when the album came. It was a perfect teaser of what was to come.

It's the leak and the drawn out release that soured it, in my opinion. We were left listening to low quality versions, just waiting for the inevitable. It gave us too much time to grow bored of the track and want actual 'new' music. That's my thinking anyway. 

The song itself is pretty great and was a return to the PopGa a lot of us have craved since Joanne. I love the vocals and the delivery of 'All I ever wanted was love', especially.

The song leaked in full over a month in advance. At that point, most of us grew tired of the song when it officially released cause we were stuck playing it over and over again on repeat (at least, that's what I did ). If the song didn't leak, it would've been muh more well received.

It'a a banger for me! It instantly brightens up my spirits whenever I listen to it! 

I thought atleast this thread would be just nice things about Stupid Love, but Alas.  It was too good to be true. Some people just can't help themselves.
