Billie Eilish‘s brother Finneas has hit out at a joke Twitter account posting fake news updates about Eilish.

The @BilliesUpdatess account shares fabricated stories about the singer, ranging from accusing her of supporting queer-baiting to saying she wanted to be poor so she could relate to her fans.

“Can you do something right for once and get this account suspended,” one fan wrote to Finneas
and he wrote: 

Over the weekend, Finneas also addressed the account, writing: “Also the account BilliesUpdatess is posting relentless lies about billie so if you see that account, report and block Em.”

That’s my problem with most of these « satire » accounts: they purposefully keep the line pretty blurry, and we all know how gullible people can be on the internet. It might be funny to some, but I don’t think in this day & age humour based on misinformation is the best way to go.

Yeah there are multiple twitter accounts fronting like Gaga fans yet just drag her for everything yet they get a ton of followers and retweets. It's what I've noticed about active little monsters (speaking generally OK!!!) they aren't very nice to or about Gaga. They're so eager to her validation from their followers and trashing her seems to be the way to do it. If anyone here participates in that culture then come talk to me in DMs so I can tell you what I really think 😊
