what would you make the BTW cover?

i know a lot of people love the original, and i appreciate the concept behind it, but a lot of people have also expressed their dislike for it. so, let’s say it’s 2011, and you wake up in gaga’s body. the label is pushing you to pick a standard album cover, and one for the bonus track edition. what do you pick?

i think these would be my choices:

standard:

(ofc i’d have it cropped to a square and probably have a black bar put over the ass)

bonus track:

(it’s simple, but iconic. would become a great logo, and it ties in my favourite scene from the BTW video)

i would also take the queen of the tracklist and make the outro an interlude

I think BTW and TEOG single covers make great album covers or if she still wanted a bike theme the middle one looks better than the original imo.

At the beginning, I found the BTW album cover so ridiculous. With time I've come to see how iconic it actually is. It's so literal and in your face, and it's kinda grotesque. Honestly it's one of those things you see and are so weird it's iconic.

She dared to release an album cover that isn't the typical one a popstar would've released at the time (face/ close up/ naked body). Not that there's something bad with it, I just love the fact that she was brave enough to go beyond, and it proves that Gaga didn't care about what people would say about this album at all, she made what she felt was right to bring the message she believes in.

My vote is make the cropped face shot the default cover, it’s just so iconic. It’s the only one i was familiar with for many years. It would be cool to do something like the limited edition foil ARTPOP cover, so have the same image for both standard and special editions (the cropped portrait) and have the special edition have some kind of foiling. Maybe foiled rainbow highlights, or foiled red lips or something.

I like it as it is, but prefer the zoomed in version.
I love almost all the photos from the album shoot, so one of these would make an awesome cover if we really get a rerelease.
