There are two kinds of artists. There's the artist who colors a coloring book with beautiful colors, and then there's the painter who paints a masterpiece from scratch and is inspired by nature, people, emotions, and creates a name for himself as Van Gogh. Katy is the coloring kind, she's not going to evolve, she has no artistry to build upon

Are they not? The majority of this forum likes it when Gaga does dance/electronic music, and the majority of this forum also doesn't see Katy "evolving." Is there 100% coverage between the two groups? No. But is there an overlap? Absolutely.

This is the tactic some users resort to on here when they're unable to actually debate others. It shows a severe lack of critical thinking, imo. The only way they're able to think is if they're being a sassy shady gay boi. It's sad.

A classic example is when Dylan was booed at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival for changing his sound from acoustic folk to electric rock.  Dylan never looked back and continued with his electric sound despite his fans not wanting him to "evolve".  Artists needs to do their music to their own artistic and creative vision or to what feels good to them.  That way you get the best music.  I think Katy's style feels good to her.

The only sad thing here is that you really think you have the authority to judge the way in which people refute arguments with their own arguments, you're no more correct than anyone here and your opinion isn't superior to anyone else's here.
