He works for the EU as part of their Special Envoy for Arctic Matters... this is like asking the cleaner on your way out of the interview if you got the job  He has no political leverage and will have as much of a voice on Scotland being allowed to join the EU again as my neighbour Dave.

How not? He’s still works for the EU. He knows what is discussed. 
 

His opinion does matter as he was the head of the European Council. The current membership is staying quiet on the Scottish Independence membership. However, a former head still has some leg to stand on.

You are just trying to discredit all the positive things about Scottish Independence because it fits your narrative. Still no idea why you are trying to back up the United Kingdom and wanting Scotland to stay.

No he wouldn’t?  Do you think if there was a meeting to discuss Scotland, a guy who is a part of a team in charge of feeding polar bears would be invited?

I’m really not, you post the most thinly backed up threads about Scottish independence and no one else on this site seems remotely bothered enough to spend a second to tell you that they’re incorrect and you’re falling for propaganda.

I don’t really know much about this guy. I just post what I see. I’ve never heard of this guy in my life.

If people aren’t interested they don’t have to post. My threads are always open for people to enter with a reasonable debate.
