JoeMo 3,720 Posted April 13, 2021 Share Posted April 13, 2021 I wasn't actually that fussed about getting ACT II songs (I would always be here for it, but it was never something I was desperately wanting). I kinda think the whole Zedd/DJWS trap influenced style music was a think of the early '10s, and to release that music from the vault at this stage would seem a bit meh. Having said that, I think it totally makes sense to release songs from the ARTPOP vault. It wouldn't need to be classed as an album and she wouldn't have to do any music videos or extensive promo (because lets face it, she isn't too keen on promo these days). I think it would give her and DJWS a lot of closure from the album cycle, as it was clearly a difficult time for them both. It would also be a great thing for fans to have while they wait for the next project. I guess the questions are... is Gaga actually fond of the songs that didn't make the album, enough to release them? If she is... would she be willing to take the time to possibly re-record/revisit the songs for mastering? And if so, is her management on board too? Are they happy for her to schedule her time to do all of this work around other future projects? If the answers to those questions are all YES... we could easily end up with them.
