Emails about the Chromatica signed posters are starting to be sent

I didn’t want to throw this out there to try to add validation to my point - but I actually work with contracts, agreements, and amendments directly with legal for my job and can still tell you there are ways to go about issuing a statement without having to amend an entire agreement - regardless of a claus. 
 

I do agree with you it can definitely take time and the longest I’ve experienced was 4 months to amend a contract. I don’t work with contracts to this scale...but I can imagine the one lawyer I work with compared to the legal team a record label has don’t even compare in terms of productivity in getting something issued in a timely manner. 
 

I’ll use Coachella as an example - she was contracted to perform, it was canceled, she released (somewhat) a statement after the fact indicating she had to cancel and I’m sure it was reviewed by both legal teams. 

I think we’ll just have to agree to disagree, I respect your opinion on it though and know it’s coming from a good place! You could be right. I could too.

That’s my thought. I kinda assumed that the posters would be printed in bulk as concert merch, and the first batch for sale online were the signed ones. 
 

Regardless, I work in events and have promo prints and brochures made regularly of all sizes. There 100% is NOT a production delay or issue causing these to not ship. It is most definitely a signing issue, in which case an option to receive the poster unsigned would have been the very least they could do.
 

The poster bundled with my Glass Animals virtual concert ticket shipped in less than 2 months, and they were printed afterward. UMG also runs their merch.

Well, except if you refund someone and don't charge them for it, no she doesn't owe it to them. That being said, the wait time here is really what is the most egregious imo.

I got my email for a signed cd order, have yet to get it for the poster. So disappointed. I’m glad I was able to at least get one signed L. They should of never let us wait a full year for this...
