Hmmm... so the other 25% will be chopped.... and how will they decide who gets the chop? By pulling names out of the hat?

Maybe by splitting it into 2 shows? That way it’ll be 50% capacity instead of 75%? But that of course would cost more money so I don’t see this happening.

Music industry execs have said multiple times that they don’t expect touring to resume until 2022

can everyone just wait

That was with old time lines. The vaccine timelines have changed very fast.

But how will that actually work though? The shows are sold out. They want to operate at 75% capacity so are they going to forcefully refund people? Saying “oh here you bought tickets over a year ago but because of Covid guidelines we have to refund your tickets better luck next time”. It’s problematic.

I see it being cancelled just because the concert people would rather get their full amount of coin and not part of it and knowing from experience Ticketmaster is absolute garbage when refunding events. Seems like a whole amount of mess, but what do I know.

I don’t think they would go ever go ahead with a show if it was only 75% full, let alone the whole tour :mark:

Either way we’re screwed. If she cancels it then bye bye tour forever but if she goes ahead with it this year, it’ll be super rushed, unpolished and cheap cause gaga already said they haven’t bothered planing the tour since they don’t know if it will happen or not. So imagine the quality if they only get a month to plan and rehearse.

Get ready for an enigma rehash and jumping choreography if it goes through.

Aren't there like 6 shows? Doubt it would be profitable at all if they did less than those planned 6.

I don’t think filming for House of Gucci is gonna last super long. It’s very possible she’ll spend all of her time after that planning what to do about the tour before she goes on the Gucci promotional campaign later this year

Right...

Gucci is scheduled to be released in November, which means we can set October-November aside for heavy promo campaign

That timeline places end of filming around the first week of April or so... so she'd have May to plan the tour, June for rehearsals, and some of July to polish it.

Frankly, and it's been said before, Gaga's team is just going to have to do what every other artist has done/is doing/will be doing, and adapt.

I thought they could still spread and catch the virus, it will just be more mild?

Getting vaccinated should protect you from getting the virus, and in turn prevent you from infecting others. Like most vaccines though, there’s always a chance you could still contract it since the efficacy of the vaccines aren’t 100%. In the off-chance that you do get covid, you are right in that you have a dramatically less chance of getting severe symptoms or becoming hospitalized- which is also amazing.

How are they only going to allow SOME people with tickets into the venue? :rip: Gaga won't stand for that I don't think so I hope she just cancels it and gives refunds.

I think the best at this point is just for her to tour her next album and just include some chromatica songs in it tbh
