1) He's in a private hospital which can have different rules to standard NHS facilities including allowing visitors in a controlled manner.

2) You ARE allowed to visit if it's a dire situation. Don't pretend to know what's going on. The man is 99 years old for goodness sake.

3) They have adherred to every single covid rule so far, let's not pretend to know why Charles travelled so far as it's none of our business.

4) Stop being so bitter about the Royal Family, The UK Government, Scottish Independance.

And it is terrible for all of those people and shouldn't have been like that for them. However, you are now allowed to visit if the situation is dire. This applies to the rest of the people in the country too. 

Charles may have every right to be there to see his father. 

He's not visiting for his Royal duties or as a patron or for publicity. He's there to see his dad, have some compassion.

I'm not sure about the rules in Britain, but in my US state when hospitals had a no visitors policy due to Covid, exceptions were made for people giving birth or people who were seriously ill and dying. For example, my sister was allowed to visit my brother-in-law when he was in the hospital over Christmas, even though the hospital had a no visitors policy, as he was dying of stage 4 cancer. 

 

I’m sorry to hear that he was/is sick. I hope your family, especially your sister, are doing okay.

I just have hatred for the British establishment. Especially since every single royal family member have drained out of the British treasury and adds nothing to the country. Why do they deserve first class treatment since they came out of the right vagina?
