So Chromatica isn’t over

The only thing I ever complained about was never the lack of promo or performamces or anything else (She literally can do whatever she wants, it's her life! P.s. I'm not being sarcastic.)

I just wish she wasn't SO secretive and mysterios and all. Why not sharing with us what's happening bts? Why not tell us how things are? Why not share with us some of the original promo plannings for Chromatica, just for the sake of it?

She has learned to keep everything under wraps for SO long until its release, but... that can only work if things get a special treatment and consideration after their release. If she's gonna release things and forget about them (which againis totally alright), why doesn't she HYPE us beforehand?? Why are they always keeping everything so secretive to just disappoint everyone afterwards when nothing actually comes to light?

That's always been my only concern and complain. When she used to hype us and accompany us through the process of creating her art it was so much better. But oh well

We will see what she has for the future...at first I was disappointed too cuz I had hopes till the last minute...I don’t think interscope will let her leave the era like that...It’s not profitable for them and we know even though she has freedom from her contract business is still business..Will it be hard to shoot the movie and promote or continue the era:A little bit but she did that with ASIB/Joanne era..Maybe Frederic won’t work with her anymore and that’s why he replied like that or maybe it’s something else,we can all see that Gaga is not Gaga during 2020 who knows why...Let’s keep the good tone and see what’s coming next(if it comes though)

Doing promo is not her priority right now and she is probably waiting for things to stabilize--whatever that even looks like--here in the US before moving forward. People forget she also lives in California, the literal epicenter of the pandemic here in the states and LA has some of the worst COVID numbers and heaviest restrictions in place. If there were plans to film anything they may have been placed on hold because a lot of TV/Film production in general is on hiatus due to the increase in cases out there. Everyone is thirsty for her next move, but the timing is not working well for her as I see it. Folks need to just remain patient and hang in there. She'll do something when she's ready.

I just wonder why she didn't do a paid virtual show like everyone else... I would gladly pay for it. She is so creative she could have done the best virtual show out there... But instead, she decided to promote watches and makeup

my only thought is due to her vegas contract not allowing her to sell any live recordings while she's contracted to perform in Vegas.

i think that was in Augst - in October i saw on one fo her team's story what could've potentially been a hat that said chromatica on it - i remember we all speculated what it could mean

something's underway.... at least an announcement that is holding information about the era. If she wanted to take a break from music publicly she had enough time to do so. I think we'll get a rerelease and or new music soon.

Bobby said in Billboard that they were trying to put one together in May and then lost all their crew due to further COVID shutdowns.

i think that they just wanted to get the album and singles out, they put the two collabs on TTH and hoped that commercially they;d carry the era throughout summer to at least December, then when COVID gets better and there is a right time they'd drop a new rollout... unfortunately although the era is a success, it didnt have that much longevity (unlike blinding lights or DSN). I mean radio in various countries stopped playing ROM as early as July. Now we see COVID is far from over and we have no active radio and streaming single, or any promo soon. 

I do think we will get things though, and hopefully everything that was prepared for the era can be dropped with new music or a b side whenver its safe to tour.

I'm sad that we didn't get more live performances ++

I was hoping for music videoes for the whole album. But I know it is difficult times for that now. 

I'm hoping we are getting more of Chromatica in the future. Maybe Chromatica II with new songs too?

It honestly seems like it's about politics more than the pandemic at this point. Obviously the album was initially pushed back because of COVID and some plans had to get fully scrapped, but the recurring theme with all of the tea we get is them being nervous and pushing stuff back because of the recent election, the coup, etc. COVID has been around long enough that news about it is practically white noise and they know how to work around it to some extent but the news cycle since October has been completely consumed by politics. I  barely hear about anything else and couldn't tell you a thing about most recent releases despite intently following music.  Pretty much every major release hasn't had it's full hype (look at Positions) and anything Gaga released would've been lost in the mix like everything else.
