You can rest knowing that Democrats came through tonight. Wednesday, the Congress will hold the counting of the electoral college votes with Mike Pence presiding at noon. You can expect the final Republican COPING performance as they declare how much they love Trump and hate this country. They will delay the counting with meaningless objections, but in the end, Joe Biden will be declared the victor. I dont know how long it will take, but each objection may take up to 2 hours. I dont know if they will object multiple times, or just once. They need a simple majority from BOTH Houses to toss out Electoral College votes. That will not happen as the House is Dem controlled and the Senate has several Republicans who still believe in Democracy. However, the damage will be long-lasting and it will taint Joe Biden's Presidency for years to come unless it happens quickly. Also, thousands of UNHINGED Trump supporters will be outside watching the whole process play out. I dont know why the **** they are there, but Trump is expected to address them before Congress meets. This is to intimidate Mike Pence and force him to try to throw out votes; he can't do that. The amount of hatred I have for Trump is unbelievable. I hate this man so much. The important thing now is to not let 2022 be another 2010. Those racist misogynistic conspiracy theory believing hateful people are out there, and if we rest on our laurels in 2022 (like we did in 2010), the hard-right with their agenda of bigotry will get political power again. For starters, re Georgia, Trump will now say 'see, told you it was rigged'. We've already seen what happened in the Pennsylvania senate where the GOP refused to seat the Democrat and then hijacked the proceedings. There will be a circus in Washington today and probably, let's be honest, violence on the streets, and that piece of s--t will STILL be president for another two weeks. God only knows what he'll do. And the inauguration ? That'll be fun I'm sure.... etc etc. I genuinely don't want to rain on the parade, but there is no guarantee that there is even going to be a parade to rain on.
