and people still want to argue that covid isn't killing a lot of people

first off, one life is already too many

secondly, it's not like you just have the cough or a sniffle, hospitals are extremely overwhelmed

hope y'all remember the nurses who work overtime 7 days a week when you have that house party you thought was responsible to do since it's likely not everyone would die

Yeah, when my TL is full of people traveling and at huge Christmas parties I am going to put blame on individuals as well.

I thought they were already doing this earlier in 2020? Wasn't there a lot of scandal about hospitals being so overrun that they had to only treat patients that were likely to survive? E.g. the elderly are left to die because they don't have the resources to treat everyone, and their chances of survival are low to start with.

It's so grim, but this is literally all that can be done when people are dying every 30 seconds. Save as many people as possible with limited resources.

How insane that one of the richest countries on earth let this happen.
