Probably because in Italy, birth records are less reliable or complete. I think this is especially more true since he come from the South of the country. 🤔

While it's true that some birth records are not reliable in Italy due to war (I mean, one of my grandmothers is still unsure whether her birthday is true or false after 91 years), we do have info about Gaga's grandparents that were just not reported correctly here: Gaga's paternal grandfather wasn't named "Joseph Anthony", but "Giuseppe Antonio" and her grandmother's name was "Angelina Calderone" (b. January 17, 1930-d. October 12, 2025).
