Lady Gaga is worth over three hundred million dollars and lives in a mansion in Malibu while the rest of the citizens in her country were forced to go back to working awful jobs for very little money in the middle of a pandemic that could kill them at any moment. We don’t have the luxury of staying home and being paid to film Oreo promotional videos while laying down.

I’ve been a fan of Gaga since the very beginning of her career and don’t appreciate it when people actually say cruel things about her, but this is literally a harmless joke. The way you people trip over yourselves to blindly defend multimillionaires (who don’t know who you are and don’t care about you) from incredibly mild criticism is absolutely insane.

I feel like people love Chromatica and because they love Chromatica, they want to see her bring the album to life. The VMA's brought 911, ROM and SL to life for the first time and that's what we want to see her do. When people mention "promo" what I think we mean is we want to see Chromatica come to life. We want to know what the tribes mean, explore Chromatica as the planet that was sold to us back in February. It's frustrating when Gaga releases one of the best albums of 2020 then she goes silent for quite a while until she has to contractually post. Even if it's just a selfie every few days or even a tweet the era wouldn't feel so cold. 

EDIT: I think also when BloodPop mentioned they would finish those SOPHIE songs "to present something special within the Chromatica universe" we'll see a reissue around the time of the Grammys so Interscope can slap big old "Grammy nominated/winner" sticker on the front cover that will appeal to fans if there's new content on said reissue.

I agree with that. We know that Chromatica (pre-COVID) was supposed to have a ton of events. I just wished that even if we are in COVID times, they could've adapted so that they could still execute those plans.

I guess these plans are too big and they’re saving some of them for the next era. Making them now would probably be very much hard work and some wouldn’t even be possible since they’d need an audience and all. I’m sure we’ll still get visuals of something.

They should have adapted things    after Bobby revealed their huge plans, the least I expected was a watered down version of it... and we didn't even get that

I’m not sure what point this was meant to make, but I’m in the same boat as an essential worker.

I do believe it’s harmful to say mean things about someone and pass it off as a “joke”, but that’s another convo.

I also don’t know what you mean by grouping me in with “you people” since I rarely even reply to these threads. 

I’ve been a Gaga fan since the beginning too, since this was Gagadailyboards, it’s not a contest lol.

I know bobby did mention the had plans but can you link me to what he had mentioned please? I'd like to read what he said regarding the plans for this era out of pure interest.

Like, I'd be fine with a couple of photoshoots  They could at least do that  The visuals for Chromatica are amazing. I'd love for them to explore that more.

Not some of y’all forgetting they were still teasing Chromatica TV and a whole Chromatica universe after the delay. The pandemic has little to do with how bad of an experience the era has been. Obviously it wouldn’t have been as big, but if they kept their word when they were trying to sell us this album then there wouldn’t be so much bitterness now. I mean, it’s been two whole months since we’ve had a photoshoot, performance, or music video.

There was also supposed to be fun interactive things coming our way, Chromatica TV, other versions of the Chromatica songs, performances, and other things. Gaga was supposed to perform at Coachella, and also iHeartRadio (with Ariana Grande) but that all got postponed. There was so many things that was supposed to happen, but didn't...

You say this but who was supporting ARTPOP,C2C and Joanne when she was at her least popular, who was filling up her arenas? And who's buying HL? Not the GP

Some of her more vocal fans may make it seem like her fans are just haters but regardless, due to her creating a cult of vulnerable young fans during TFM and BTW her fans really do and always will have her back, at least financially. Having a very solid fanbase allowed her career to stay afloat until she reached the top again with ASIB, and will probably keep it afloat for the rest of her days. No matter what she releases she's guaranteed at least moderate success.

 

You might respond saying "it's not all about money" but after this year it's pretty clear that to her, it is

ty for the links. I knew about CTV and I still think that Interscope will reissue the album with those alternate versions and new tracks (ahem SOPHIE tracks) around the Grammys so they can slap a "Grammy nominee/winner" hype sticker on the front cover. Coachella is what it is now, I don't think she'll perform her set at the next Coachella as we already know about her surprise set now. Idk there were a to that could've been but didn't materialise.
