IF Chromatica is nominated for album of the year , she will definitely do something , she has to , wishful thinking there is a promo plan for grammys hype

No matter how much bitter fans keep dragging gaga and calling her lazy i know shes anything but lazy. She works really hard for everything. Just bcoz shes not pormoting doesnt mean shes lazy and doesnt care for music if she didnt  she wouldnt even release an album. Im sure she have lots going on as we already know some upcoming. Im excited to see what she has to offer.  also unlike some who only stan for music i stan for her as an artist and im really looking forward to her acting gigs.

I just want to say that she clearly didn't want to do any promo for whatever reason and that's it. There's no some conspiracy or whatever behind that. 

I’d reckon because of how all the plans she had got torpedoed. Since it takes a while to make deals, commitments to perform, content, etc., she was still probably doing that post album release so she had a smaller window to execute stuff which is why post covid we got 1 music video and a big performance.

People have been so vile about her in regards to Chromatica. It's like a reverse ARTPOP era where journalists like the album, but the stans turn on her (or just certain majority ones from certain sites). And I think it's because she didn't give them what they want at the time they want it. Yeah, a "Making of" video of her latest music video nearly two months later is just frustratingly late, but at the same time people overreact and say really awful things about her. It's so toxic. None of us know what is exactly going on either, like, she really could be going through something that we don't know about. Or even if that's not happening, she has the right to put up some work & life bounderies if she wants to. The woman has chronic pain and depression. Let her live ffs.

Honestly, guys, she keeps saying that all she cares about is literally music, making music, singing music, playing music and thats it. Anything that comes with it tires her or even drains her, i understand why she's silent to be honest, we need to stop being so greedy, just enjoy the music.

I think the issue for me in terms of Chromatica not being promoted is that if COVID never happened, she would’ve had to do Coachella, Chromatica Ball, and much more promo, but now she can’t. So you can’t say that she just doesn’t want to promote because she was clearly READY to promote, but when everything got canceled she did absolutely nothing to make up ANY sort of substitution.

All I know is that I'd love this Christmas to have is a new special Rupaul and the muppets event with Gaga.

Given that this seems unreasonable, I'll wait another four years for a new album.

Music videos are overrated anyways. She will bring the already announced new content for us gays, we just need to cultivate some patience

Yeah she likes the artistic process be that in music, film, etc.

 

Promo ain't a part of that process nor does she really need to do a TON because her name alone carries weight plus girl doesn't need any more money lol

I am tired, every day in this forum there's this same thread about how monstruous monsters are for wanting a little bit of promo for Chromatica.

She does whatever she wants and it's ok, it's her life, it's her choice.

Why she doesn't open her Instagram and says "hey, guys, I am gonna put Chromatica on hold for now so I can work on other projects/focus on my mental health." That's all she has to do, 5 seconds. But instead they (label etc.) prefer to keep the fans not knowing anything and having anxiety towards Chromatica because WE CARE ABOUT CHROMATICA.

The idol-fan relationship goes both ways, without her fans Gaga is nothing and so are we. We are giving her love, time of our lives, streaming, our money. Giving us a silence for months in the middle of an album release is not how you should make things. Respect works both ways.

As I've said before, I can understand both sides. I'm definitely one to defend Gaga whenever I can, but I also understand that this era has been objectively the worst era out of any album release that she's done.

The problem is that there's been so many things this year that have halted pretty much any movement from Chromatica. We know that this era was going to be big and have a lot of stuff, but because of COVID and BLM, it's been very difficult to do pretty much anything. Well, then people say, "Other artists have shifted and adapted, so Gaga should too!". And yes, while other artists have done different things to continue promoting their music, you cannot necessarily put that on Gaga, because she's a different artist. Not all artists are going to do the same things.

It's also interesting that people always go, "Well, she's a musician! It's her job to promote her music!". And again, yes, while that's true, Gaga's also not just a musician. She's an actress, an activist, a philanthropist, an entrepreneur, etc. Whenever she promotes HL, y'all never go, "She's an entrepreneur, so it's her job to promote HL!". Whenever she does acting stuff, y'all never go, "She's an actress, so it's her job to do movies!". 

I guess for me, the only problem right now is that we're virtually getting nothing from Gaga. At this point, I don't even really care if it's about Chromatica. We've gotten some HL stuff, but other than that, nothing. And you know what, we all have to recognize that. There are two opposing sides in this argument that are equally extremist. It's always "GAGA NEVER DOES ANYTHING! WHAT THE **** IS WRONG WITH HER?!" or "Y'ALL NEED TO SHUT THE **** UP ABOUT GAGA!". Both sides are valid to an extent.
