Even Miley is doing live performances for late night shows and rolling out music videos. Delusional is an understatement As usual the little complainers and little managers always think they know exactly what Gaga is thinking and the reasons behind it. We have zero clue as to what is going on in her life right now, where her head space is at, or even her physical condition is like. There are many reasons why Gaga isn't doing the AMA's or not promoting Chromatica... and none of the reasons are because she doesn't care about the album, or herself as a musician/popstar. Maybe she never got invited to the AMA's. Maybe she just isn't in the right headspace to do a big performance. Maybe she feels uncomfortable at the fact covid is still causing havoc so promoting an album that is now 6 months old isn't high on her agenda. Maybe there are family issues. We simply DO NOT KNOW and it is ludicrous to just assume she's over the album/era and her career. Why would you even think that about an album that pulled her out of the depression she fell into post Joanne? The melancholy lyrics, the deep meanings, the sadness hidden with the uplifting spirit of Chromatica... of course she cares about this album, and probably is one she holds most dear to her. Gaga will be a musician until she dies. She'll do pop, jazz, and whatever else she wants to make. Her career is far from over. And the best part about it is that she can do many many things, like the new movie she is shooting. Stop being so delusional just because she isn't doing what you want her to do. Exactly, the woman has told us in multiple interviews, that she wanted to commit suicide. We have no clue what she’s thinking right now, or what’s going on behind closed doors. And before you say anything else, the standards that the media have for Gaga are much stricter than those for other artists. You have to consider gaga as a rehabilitating artist. After ARTPOP she can no longer afford missteps. As soon as the general public will show a strong interest in her music again, then it will be time to do more. For now the public is clearly more interested in other artists on the market, who seemingly succeed no matter what they really do. Take Dua, The Weekend etc. Until then, it will be necessary having a lot of patience and understand that a career is a marathon, not a sprint.
