Covid-19 cases have been skyrocketing since the beginning of October, daily cases are currently doubling in 7 days, intensive care covid cases are have doubled within 10 days, covid-19 patients that receive artificial respiratation have doubled within 10 days. 75% of all new cases cannot be traced back anymore, recognizing and breaking infection chains is no longer possible. More than 10% of all available intensive care units in Berlin are taken by Covid-19 patients already. Starting November 2: - indoor dining will be prohibited, restaurants will only be allowed to open for takeout/deliveries - bars, clubs, discos, museums, cinemas, swimming pools and any other institution related to entertainment will close - outdoor events are cancelled for the full month of november - most sporting events are cancelled, gyms will be closed, professional soccer games will commence without fans - visiting relatives or friends at their house is prohibited - only groups of 10 people or two families are allowed to meet in public - business that have to close because of lockdown will receive a compensation that will amount to 70-75% of their expected November earnings - touristic travel is prohibited - schools will remain open - retail stores will remain open under stricter conditions (1 customer per 10 square meter) - hairdressers will remain open under stricter conditions https://www.tagesspiegel.de/politik/die-beschluesse-des-corona-gipfels-deutschland-geht-wieder-in-den-teil-lockdown/26566726.html Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
