anonanon 932
Disappointing, but not surprising given the some of the stories I have read about COVID compliance on production sets. At least we can use it as a case study. Edited just now by anonanon

What's the scandal here? Where did they not follow the rules? Agreed.
Franch Toast 27,737
The moral of the story is that if you want to get tested for covid, need a few extra bucks, and live in the NYC area, apply for tickets to SNL. For real. They're available at 1iota, though they're giving priority to first responders. (And side note: Gaga has been following the rules. Giving her jacket to a fan didn't violate any mandate. The only time we've seen Gaga without a mask in public was for the 911 video, and the set took all proper precautions. She's even been going above and beyond which is why she wore masks at the VMAs, even though she didn't have to. A lot of us are still following the rules and haven't decided to just live with it. Some of us are social distancing, wearing masks, and minimizing going out. I haven't eaten in a restaurant, not even on a patio, since this started, and the only socializing I do happens over Zoom.) Gaga was wearing a mask and the fan went up to her and Gaga didn't want to be rude so she just gave her the jacket without actually physically touching her. Gaga didn't break the rules, so I don't see where she didn't follow the rules?
SwissMonster 30,688
Its kinda overdramatic to make a thread about it. All rules were followed. Tbh in germany they started with audience in TV shows again. And this with out masks or rapid covid tests... only the 1m50 distance. Some shows don’t even care about the distance over here and just told the audience to not come sick to the show. So I don’t see the big deal with what SNL is doing. Actually it is a good concept! We have to begin to live with COVID in a safe way...not just survive COVID. SwissMonster®️ - Creating controversy since 1999

I feel so bad people dismissed her as lip syncing for the VMA’s. I hope it didn’t make her feel even less enthusiastic about performing this era
