Wouldn’t look too much into it. He said he’s gonna hit the campaign trail soon and I doubt he’d do that if he thought he’d look sick in front of crowds of people.

My guess is that he's still very sick but he and his campaign managers wanted him to leave the hospital to appear strong and to further downplay corona. He also probably knows that his chances to win the election will only go down more if he doesn't start campaigning again

Probably the opposite. Everyone around him seems more level-headed than he is. He was probably encouraged to stay, but he wants to make it appear as though he is above this virus. His tweets suggest the same.
