I don't have much faith in him after his mediocre—at best—performance during the Democratic debates, but ultimately I do think he will do relatively well at the debates. We're talking about someone who was VP for eight years and in senate for 30 years vs a guy who failed upwards. Trump has lowered the expectations for Biden so far by calling him "sleepy Joe", saying that he's cognitively declining, etc that all Biden has to do is get a few soundbites in and he wins Trump made his base believe Biden is stupid so when they're forced to see that he is far from stupid, there will be egg all over Cheeto's face.
