Will Gaga drag Chromatica during the next era?

People on here who dislike or hate Joanne project their feelings onto others and say Gaga "dragged" the album. Its shocking how little self-aware some people are.

The only time I remember Gaga "dragging" ARTPOP was the tweet saying she didn't remember the album which I know was a joke. Usually people have to tell me to calm down or that somethings a joke, but some people got so butthurt over a silly tweet. As if she's gonna forget an entire era of her work.

I don’t recall her ever dragging the fame the fame monster or born this way

but art pop and Joanne she has shared disappointment , not necessarily towards the albums themselves and the music she was putting out, but more so the mindset where she was at during the time of the album and how the eras played out

"Joanne caused her a deep depression because she couldn't heal her dad" gets twisted into "Joanne caused her a deep depression" which is twisted into "Gaga hates the album"

Honestly, how does that sh*t happen?

The interview is out there. You can't just mix her words and say she hates the album. She even said she stands for what she's done so far.

An Artist critical of their older work? Never! :fail:

For real tho, I think what she says gets blown wayyyy out of proportion.

REALITY

Y'all either didn't pass 3rd grade reading/listening comprehension or y'all are just blatantly trying to put words in her mouth :ladyhaha:

Gaga has never once "dragged" one of her eras and she never will. Gaga puts out albums that she's 110% invested in at the time. The "Gaga" today is not the same "Gaga" during Joanne, or ARTPOP, or BTW, or TFM, or TF. She changes and evolves like any normal human being. That said, she has explicitly stated numerous times that she is proud of every era she's had because it's who she was at that time.

Its almost intentional misinterpretation for the sake of dragging her lol. Im not even gonna get into the situation because people write whole a thesis because of one sentence they misconstrued one time

I mean for some, sure. I don't really care when she does it because I myself usually look at my previous artistic endeavors with disdain, or simply differently. I think it's a common thing with creative people.

Only thing Gaga has ever said which initially rubbed me the wrong was was the first time she talked about Gaga as a character, and that she only used the fashion to get people's attention.

But now I'm like "meh whatever".

She definitely has talked about ARTPOP and Joanne being slightly disappointing lol. But I think she'll reminisce on this era being a disappointing time (covid), but not the album itself. She really tapped into something sentimental and successful with Chromatica.

Get the pinot ready, because it's turtle time.

The only thing she's ever truly dragged something to my knowledge was Telephone , both the song and video lol. She's said negative things about ARTPOP and Joanne, and TF/M, but not really the music itself more the time they were made/the implications on her personal life as associated

My thoughts exactly! She's basically said about ARTPOP, Joanne, and "the first years of my career" (aka tfm/btw) that they were dark times for her personally. Basically she's always struggling and it seems music is her way to express it, so she looks back and remembers the darkness. But she also has shared so many positive sentiments towards every album so it's not that black and white y'all.

Oh I just meant the Joanne-era interview that the "I have to laugh" reaction/meme came from

To me her laugh and expression seemed half "what the hell was I thinking?" and half "why'd you have to bring that up..." :derpga: @ 4:23:

Edited to add: To be clear, I think she has a good sense of humor about it. Like "lol that was sorta goofy of me" and not "I am angry and mortified to be reminded of this" so it's not like a nasty drag, just having some silliness with old stuff

Oh! Thanks for letting me know, believe it or not I don’t think I’ve ever actually seen this interview :icega: I’ll have to check it out. And I definitely get that you mean, it was definitely a lighthearted “haha what was I doing there :laughga:“ kind of moment.
