Fans of 911: why do you like it?

Sonically it wasn't my favorite when I first listened to it. Over time I grew to like it because of the lyrics and the transition from CII to 911. It has all the elements of a great Gaga song IMO but with a more demure approach when it comes to being a catchy bombastic pop song.

The other song I can compare it to is Judas with the monotone vocals and catchy chorus. The only difference is Judas IS bombastic.

But who knows, maybe the song will become viral in some way with the younger audience. It's weird, catchy and fun. You never know.

1. What do you like about it?

The song has an incredible flow to it. Although I'm torn on the vocals, the beat more than makes up for it. Plus it's just one of those songs you bop to with headphones when you're alone in the house.

2. Why do you think it makes a good single?

It doesn't.

3. Why do you think it should become a single now over all the other potential choices?

I don't. #Justice4FunTonight

Because it's one of smartest songs ever.

The monotonic and static feels of the song is to represent the antipsychotic medication and how they make you apathetic and decreasing your emotions responds.. you're like in a static monotonic phase.

Come on and wrap that blade of grass around my hairy ass

The song is very fun, very addictive, It's melody is unique, the way Gaga sings the chorus like if she's making fun of herself in a way but also like if she's crying for help inside is very interesting, the lyrics are also very good. I just love when I hear a song that I never heard before, that's also very good. As for it being worthy for a single treatement, I'm not going to say that It's definitelly going to be a hit but also not going to count it out aswell because the song is the most streamed album track for a reasons and that's because It's very addictive and has a lot of replay value.

By the way I also dislike the idea of Gaga using many voice effects but for some reason in this song, It just feels right

i love it for all the reasons you hate it,

the good news for you is that you don’t have to listen to the song, you don’t even have to pay attention to any of its promo should it become a single.

1. I LOVE it because of the production, I just LOVE when vocals sound like they're synthesized, but only when it's done right, and Gaga and Madeon did it RIGHT! :firega: And the melodies on the chorus sound hypnotizing, it's my most favorite chorus that she's ever made because it sounds so sad and hurt and vulnerable

2. Because a lot people like me don't see the appeal in songs like Free Woman and 1000 Doves or Plastic Doll as much as this song touched me, people love electronic music, and not everyone will like this song, but a lot of people still will because of how unique and "Gaga" it is :firega:

3. Because besides maybe Babylon everything else just doesn't seem as cool or as thrilling as 911.

I'm still ambivalent towards it, its definitely the middle point of the album for me, I neither like or dislike it, but it doesn't come across as "dark" for me. The vocals are admittedly futuristic I suppose, but the overall execution edges more towards cheesy than "dark" for me.

I do like the end chorus and outro though. The extra "oo-woo-oh" in the background and "please patch the line" are definitely a highlight, but otherwise the rest of the song doesn't do it for me.

Chromatica Island

It has a lot of meaning for me, I take antidepressants and anxiety medication, it's really relatable and it's very Fame era, which I like, it reminds me of Paper Gangsta, I like robotic/ futuristic sounds in music, it also reminds me of Daft Punk, which I love! I think it will be a big hit with the GP, it'll be her new Poker Face/ Bad romance!
