No not like the actual song being "weird", weird, like the production, the robotic vocals, the falsetto pre-chorus, the lyrics in the chorus, it's weird but in the best beautiful way

I think the chorus is the best part about the song and it's my most favorite chorus of hers ever

The robotics brings a cool effect to the song almost as she’s a robot on pills

RabbitHeart 793
truthfully, in the US it seems like bubbly dance-pop like SL, ROM, and FW is going "out of style". It's like every song in the genre, no matter how good it is, is referred to as "h&m music" or something like that. more than that, a lot of popular songs here don't exactly feature belting and ferocious singing. look at Billie, Ariana's biggest hits (tu,n and 7 rings aren't ones where she's constantly doing runs/putting lots of intense singing into her vocals), and even the "generic" pop songs that go big (i.e. circles, girl like you). I think 911 fits in the best with that subset of song -- it's got cool sounding robotic/monotone verses and a catchy, memorable, albeit lowkey chorus. Spoiler it's basically Gaga's Bad Guy
Mirrion Rizzons 10,895
As an 18 year old I agree, however, I've only seen people hate ROM on TikTok, elsewhere everyone seems to love it, especially in the UK.

Jake D 576
If nothing else 911 has the best streaming numbers of any non single (minus Sour Candy) so it's the obvious choice.

PerfectGUY 7,822
For me there's 4 obvious singles on Chromatica and they're : - Sine From Above - Sour Candy - Replay - Babylon not necessarily my favorites, but they're the 4 songs that are the most impactful on first listen

MiQuenDroid 5,059
The transition was a trend on TikTok so yeah it's a very huge potential if the song will be played on the radio! All I ever wanted was love...
