They're just so epic and bring everything together and THOSE VISUALS AND SPECIAL EFFECTS Ugh idk, I feel like there was something missing in the Battle of Hogwarts. And the epilogue is pretty cringey, tho it already was in the book. I also wanted to see Nagini in her protective magical bubble
ToxicHot 6,444
I always thought Prisoner of Askaban was soooo dope. I watched it so, so many times. I never was crazy about the books though. I tried reading some as a kid but I was never into it. My mom would read them to me too but I simply wasn’t interested... And I thought I was too young to understand maybe, idk. Obviously, as a child it’s far easier to appreciate and admire the visualization (films) rather than the text itself. That sh*t was SO long and I was never an avid reader. I collected the DVDs up until Order of the Phoenix - which I thought was f*cking BORING. Actually, I think I watched it once and turned it off halfway through. Lol. And I never *actually* watched the final 3 films - like, maybe they were on in the background on TV or in school..... But I don’t know what actually happens except for the ending of Deathly Hollows Part 1 when Dobby dies. And, I know Harry and Ron’s sister shack up together? And Ron and Hermionie. dOnT sAd ReAcT mE 2 bE sHaDy i WiLL RePoRt U!!1!
Gagaloo911 12,959
The third film would be a close runner-up to the last two, followed by the fourth film. I really enjoy Prisoner of Azkaban it's probably to one I've watched the most tbh. And the sixth film is by far the worst for me. It was just so boring and uneventful tbh. It was a turning point for the rest of the movies with a darker atmosphere, the subtle medieval influences in the soundtrack, and the debut of the clock tower Idk, it checked every box for me... especially since this one’s also my favorite book

I still enjoyed it very much. Yea the epilogue is kinda cringe I would agree. Tbh it's been soo long since I read the books probably going on 15 years now, so I don't even remember all the things they left out The one thing I can remember very well is in the sixth book when Harry and Dumbledore go through the pensieve to visit that house in the woods or whatever of some important character I can't recall. But they visited and went back multiple times. I remember those scenes (at that house in the woods specifically, not all the pensieve scenes) being particularly important to the narrative of the book, yet they didn't include them at all in the film I believe lol

Guest
So easy, goblet of fire. I had the most fun time in cinema watching it, the best movie in my opinion out of all them. The next ones are pretty dark which I like but goblet of fire had some energy/fun into it with new characters. My least fav is order of phoenix it's such a filler

littlepotter 75,147
I have to say the last film hands down. I'm not a huge fan of the movies, I prefer the books by miles away, but that last film was done so well... The soundtrack literally elevated it to a whole new level. It makes me cry so much. chaeri pls
JoeMo 3,882
Favourite: the last 2 Least Favourite: half blood Prince. Only because they missed out so many memories of Voldemort’s past that made the original story so much more interesting www.youtube.com/jmremixes

The one from the house in the woods was I think his mom or a relative’s memory, to learn all about his life. They did include that in the movie, they just cut out a lot of it, like the memories of his relatives and his time in the orphanage and all that. The scene you remember is happening at Voldemort's mother house, and basically gives some background about his family, and also explains his interest into the ring he ultimately turns into a Horcruxe (I don't think it ever gets explained in the film).
