She was there to debut and kick start a new era. As for You and I, I think it was the trend to let big artists perform new songs because singles get replaced by the next one very quickly. Nowadays, we only have one big song from one album, rather than say three or five. Shallow represents A Star Is Born, Million Reasons represents Joanne, Blinding Lights represents After Hours, Rain On Me represents Chromatica.
