Because Gaga managed to infuse the epicness of Bad Romance to a love song with great movie

It's an amazing song, showing off some of Gaga's best vocals. It's raw and full of emotion, something a lot of people didn't realise gaga could do.

It's become her biggest peak :firega:

And I can't wait for her to release new records similar to the Shallow-ARUTW-INLA thing in the future:vegas:

Because its a relatable, modern love duet song, that has straight forward but deep lyrics. It's boundless.. Its a classic already

It's what happens when you do quality + massive promo and a bit of luck since the movie got so big. It still pretty much has daily promo with the movie being out there on streaming services and and the song is one of the most covered on talented shows in recent years. The fact that ARUTW is also her 2nd most streamed song ever and INLA her 6th most streamed without even being singles just shows how massive the movie and soundtrack was, not just shallow. :bradley:

It’s one of the best songs engineered for streaming and the streaming era

You can’t just listen to Bradley’s part, you gotta hear Gaga’s part and then you get to the aaaaaaa aaaaa AAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAH and then you get the sha la la la la la

and the songs ends :enigma:

stream complete

please enlighten me to death

The GP asked for Joanne 2.0 and Gaga said yes, but with an hollywood star so they ate it all up :bradley:

ASIB smashed, Gaga didn’t ™️

It’s a beautifully written song & ASIB being such a huge hit put it over the edge for the GP and made it a certified smash!

ehhhh splitting hairs since she helped write the thing and was the vocally at the center of the song. No one else would have done what she did with it so I think we can attribute even some success to Gaga herself.

Plus lbr it comes at a perfect point in the movie and is a really well put-together scene.

It’s a great song and it was heavily promoted. It was attached to most of the movie’s ads and trailers, it was performed many times, won a lot of awards, and people were also very drawn to the BradGa chemistry and relationship rumors. It had everything going for it.

It was performed only twice on US TV, and once in the rest of the world (it was in Japan)

Sister

It's that kind of song like My Heart Will Go on by Cele Dion, people love those blatant dramatic ballads.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.
