President of Poland proposes constitutional ban on LGBT adoption

AHEAD OF RUN-OFF VOTE, POLISH PRESIDENT PROPOSES CONSTITUTIONAL BAN ON LGBT ADOPTION

Poland’s President Andrzej Duda on Monday proposed changing the constitution to ban LGBT couples from adopting children ahead of Sunday’s presidential run-off in which the candidates are polling neck-and-neck. Ahead of run-off vote, Polish president proposes constitutional ban on LGBT adoption. “I am convinced that, thanks to this, children’s safety and concern for the good of children will be ensured to a much greater extent,” Duda said at an event in Warsaw. 

Duda is an ally of the ruling nationalist Law and Justice Party (PiS), which dismisses LGBT rights as an invasive foreign influence undermining Poland’s traditional values. 

The opposition centrist Civic Platform (PO) candidate, Warsaw mayor Rafal Trzaskowski, said this weekend that he is also against the adoption of children by LGBT couples.

this. you can't be LGBTQ to adopt, but you can be homophobic to adopt and raise a child

Unfortunately, many people in Poland, as well as in my country to be honest, still think the LGBT+ community should have no "special" rights, like being able to marry, or to live together in a cohabitation form, or to adopt children.

Because when they hear about gays, 'cause that's what they all care about when it comes to LGBT, they only think about PENETRATIVE **** SEX. That's it. That is the only thing that pops in their minds. So obviously they fear that the children will end up being victims of pedophillia and other completely deluded stuff.
