Who is black?’ has long been that a black is any person with any known African black ancestry. This definition reflects the long experience with slavery and later with Jim Crow segregation. In the South, it became known as the "one-drop rule,'' meaning that a single drop of "black blood" makes a person a black.”

Laws were created to attempt to draw a stark line between whiteness and Blackness. As amendments were passed to free enslaved Blacks and grant the freed, citizenship, racist politicians went to work to ensure Black Americans remained inferior despite the new laws

From ur own article. This is what I was getting at.

I wasn't talking about white washing. I'm talking about people with any hint of black even if they are predominantly white being called black. It's a white purity test

Dunno why u had to take it in the worst context

This is why we keep physical records of stuff...it's so easy to "erase" facts on the internet by flooding it with false information and conspiracy theories passing as facts.

It's funny because this is the exact reason for why I think those statues that were thrown into the river should have been relocated to the racist section of some museum.

In a couple hundred years, people who had no contact with our generation or the ones before us will say those racists never existed and are just myths from the internet and old history books, in order to defend racist policies. Until they uncover the statues from the ocean again, that is.

The greatest way to show that you're ashamed of/disloyal to your race is if the accomplishments of your people aren't enough. Beethoven shouldn't be valued by an African and the fact that he was white shouldn't make them envious. They should be proud of their own figures and not try to make up nonsense like this. Is there a better example of self-inflicted "white supremacy" in action?

No one is envious...

Honestly I’m so over anything that has to do with race. Like aren’t y’all so sick of seeing everyone talking about it? I mean I guess it has to continue in order to fix the issues in the country but at the same time I’m like ugh ok I’m over this subject. Sorry but that’s how I feel girls come at me with your stones honey xoxo

Just like how it's illegal to deny the Holocaust in some countries, imagine if it was illegal to deny those racists never existed
